Fire safety for electric mobility

Selecting equipment for electric vehicle environments begins with the site, vehicle types and existing fire protection plan. Prepare information about the batteries, parking and charging arrangements, available instructions and staff responsibilities. Discuss any proposed product with the person responsible for site safety. Agree the scenario, location, participants and safety arrangements before a demonstration. Information on this site does not replace a technical assessment or emergency service procedures.
